The checklist format makes it dead simple to track what matters after each runway show.
Tracking resale price fluctuations post-event was something I never thought to systematize — this laid it out perfectly. Already used it after Milan Fashion Week and caught two items spiking before anyone in my network noticed.
The trend cascade section alone pays for itself 🔥
I own a small boutique in Brooklyn and this checklist completely changed my buying strategy. Before, I'd watch runway shows and go with gut instinct on what to stock. Now I'm working through each of the six sections methodically — tracking celebrity appearances, monitoring which pieces get street-style traction during fashion week, and cross-referencing with resale platform data. The section on spotting fast-fashion adaptations weeks after a Gucci debut helped me time my inventory orders way better last season. I even started a shared doc with my buyer where we check off items from the collaboration and cultural crossover section together. My sell-through rate on trend-adjacent pieces went up noticeably this past quarter. If you're making purchasing decisions based on fashion events, this turns instinct into a repeatable process.
Finally someone broke down why Met Gala appearances move product.
💼👗✨🔥
The sustainability and brand messaging section surprised me — I hadn't connected eco-material announcements at events to shifts in buyer perception before. Clean framework for something I was ignoring.
Printed this out and taped it next to my desk for fashion week season.
Using section 4 on street style analysis during Paris Fashion Week was eye-opening 👀
Short, actionable, no fluff — exactly what a reseller needs.
The part about scarcity-driven hype from collaborations explained so much about pricing patterns I've been seeing on consignment apps. Shared it with three other resellers immediately.

Cross-referencing Gucci's runway themes with fast-fashion drops weeks later — that tip alone changed how I source inventory.
I've been buying and reselling luxury accessories for about three years, mostly going off TikTok trends and whatever felt right. This checklist gave me an actual system. I started with the celebrity and red carpet section during awards season, tracking which specific pieces got social media traction within 48 hours of an appearance. Then I'd cross-check against section 5 — watching whether other luxury houses or fast-fashion brands started echoing those silhouettes. Within two months I was consistently buying pieces before the demand spike instead of chasing it. The sustainability messaging section also helped me understand why certain eco-conscious capsule drops were commanding premiums I couldn't explain before. The whole thing reads fast but there's a surprising amount of strategic depth packed into each checkbox. I keep it open on my phone every time I'm sourcing.
Concise enough to actually use, detailed enough to actually work.
The connection between runway debuts and boutique buying patterns clicked immediately — wish I had this two seasons ago 💡
Every section has a clear reason why it matters, which keeps it from feeling like just another list.
Capsule collection analysis tip is gold for resellers.
I wasn't expecting the cross-industry exposure point — music tours and film premieres as fashion signals made total sense once I read it. Now I can't unsee it.
Laminated it for my office wall 👏
❤️🔥👌💯✨
Six sections, zero wasted space — this is how guides should be written.
